Selection Process

The Mandela Washington Fellowship is conducted as a merit-based open competition. After the deadline, all eligible applications will be reviewed by a selection panel. Chosen semifinalists will be interviewed by the U.S. embassies or consulates in their home countries. If selected for an interview, applicants must provide a copy of their passport (if available) or other government-issued photo identification to verify eligibility.

The Tanzania Commission for Universities as a nominating agent in the country for the Commonwealth scholarships is inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians for Masters and Doctorate degrees tenable in the United Kingdom in the year 2015.

The Scholarships include:
  • One year taught Masters courses or equivalent degrees 
  • Doctorate degrees, of up to three years duration 
Qualifications 

1. Applicants must be holders of Bachelor or Masters degrees; 
2. Applicants for Masters must have Bachelor degree of GPA not less that 3.5; and 
3. Applicants for Doctorate degrees must have a B Grade Masters degrees or a GPA of 4 or above at Masters level.

  • It is important that applicants should read and understand all given instructions when filling the application forms, and should attach all necessary attachments such as certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, birth certificates and submit online through the above mentioned link.

Baraza la Taifa la Elimu ya Ufundi (NACTE) linapenda kuwaarifu wote walioomba kujiunga na kozi mbalimbali za afya kwa ngazi ya Cheti (Astashahada) na Diploma (Stashahada) kupitia Mfumo wa Udahili wa Pamoja (CAS) kuwa, Uteuzi wa awali umefanyika na waombaji 9306 kati ya 21228 wameteuliwa kujiunga na vyuo mbalimbali. Matokeo ya uteuzi huo yanapatikana katika kurasa binafsi (Profiles) za waombaji.

2. Waombaji wote ambao wamechaguliwa katika awamu hii wanapaswa kuthibitisha kuwa wataripoti katika vyuo walivyopangiwa na mwisho wa kuthibitidha ni Ijumaa tarehe 16 Oktoba 2015. Iwapo muombaji hatathibitisha, nafasi hiyo itatolewa kwa mwingine. Kuweza kuthibitisha bonyeza hapa.

3. Kwa wale ambao bado hawajapangiwa vyuo, kurasa binafsi zenu zina maelezo yenye sababu za kutopangiwa chuo katika awamu hii na maelekezo ambayo unatakiwa kuyatekeleza ili mfumo utakapochakata uteuzi wa awamu nyingine siku ya Jumatatu 19 Oktoba 2015 idadi kubwa zaidi ya waombaji iweze kupangiwa vyuo kwani hadi sasa nafasi zipatazo 11566 hazijajazwa.
