2015 International School Moshi scholarships


A Scholarship to Study at ISM

International School Moshi is offering two full scholarships for students to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme (Forms 5 and 6) as boarders in ISM from August 2015 to May 2017. These will be available to students who have performed exceptionally well in the NECTA Form Four examinations in November 2014.
If you recently completed Form Four and took NECTA examinations in October/November 2014, you may be eligible for a scholarship and entry in 2015. Applications for scholarships are now open.
These scholarships include 100% of all tuition, boarding and examination fees and will be granted to Tanzanian students who have shown an outstanding level of achievement in their education.
Scholarship applicants must:
  • Be a Tanzanian citizen who has completed national form four exams in Tanzania
  • Be an excellent student who obtained a distinction and a GPA of 4.4 or higher in your seven best subjects in CSEE exams.
  • Be able to show evidence of your commitment to creative and/or community service activities.
  • Be under 20 years of age in August 2015.
To apply, you will need to:
  • Complete a diploma scholarship application form. This is available from here in Microsoft Word or PDF format.
  • Submit a copy of your birth certificate
  • Provide a results slip or evidence from your school of your form four results
  • Submit a copy of your last school report
  • Provide a passport-sized colour photograph
  • Submit a letter in English detailing the high and low points of your schooling to date and how you believe you would benefit from an education in ISM
Applications can be sent by email to scholarship@ismoshi.net, or sent by EMS or courier to Head of Campus, International School Moshi, PO Box 733, Lema Road, Moshi. Please ensure that you include BOTH an email address and a mobile phone number at which you or your family can be contacted between now and mid-March.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Sunday, 1st March.
After 1st March, our scholarship committee will select a smaller group of applicants to invite to Moshi for interviews. It is expected that interviews for chosen candidates will be held on Friday, 13th March. From the chosen candidates, it is expected that two will be offered full scholarships in ISM.
