1.Credit Officer - (ONE POST)
Purpose of the position.
The credit officer is responsible for receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and recommend loans applications for approval and making follow up of their returns on time.
Scope
The Credit Officer reports to the Manager and is responsible for facilitating SACCO's credit activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Cooperative
Management, business Administration,
Accounting Banking or related field, or equivalent certifications, and experiences from recognized institutions.
Post Graduate Diploma in Savings and Credit
Management will be an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience working with .
SACCOS/ or Micro-finance sector
Strong capacity of monitoring and reporting
Knowledge of computer working experience of
Office Application eg Excel, Access and Word.
Interpersonal and communication skills, Self
Confidence, Customer Care and ability to working in a demanding environment
Good written and oral communicative skills, in
English and Swahili . .
Ability to work as a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and to lean new concepts quickly.
