ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING
This position is located in the Financial Management Office within the Division of Programme Support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Within delegated authority, under the direct supervision of the Senior
Budget Officer or the Finance Officer and the general guidance of the
Chief, Finance Management, the incumbents will be responsible for: Budget and Finance

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
EDUCATION: Completed secondary education. Training in the field of accounting or finance, highly desirable
WORK EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven years of experience in finance, budget, accounting, administrative services or a related area.
LANGUAGES: Advanced knowledge of English. Working knowledge of French or Spanish is desirable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Advanced skills in Excel. Strong skills in data analysis and preparation of financial reports.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Experience
using the financial module of IMIS or another accounting software.
Knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Experience in
assisting in the implementation of ERP systems.

TERMS OF SERVICE
Appointments with ITC are service-limited to this organization. The
conditions of service are governed by the United Nations Staff Rules and
Regulations. This is a fixed term appointment.
INDICATIVE ANNUAL SALARY AT THE G-6 LEVEL
Annual Salary (net of tax) CHF 82,248 at single rate, with annual increments subject to performance.
