To support our growing portfolio of clients, we are now inviting applications for the following vacancies:
Audit Manager (1 post)
The audit manager will report to the Audit Partner and be in charge of audit assignments from planning, execution and reporting. Other duties will include:
• Compliance with Internal Quality Control Policy and other applicable Standards
• Effective communication with clients
• Coaching and mentoring junior audit staff
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting or any quantitative specialisation
• Holder of full CPA(T), ACCA, or any other recognized qualification
• Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and other relevant local reporting requirements.
• At least 4 years working experience in a reputable audit firm. Professional experience in any of the EAC or SADC countries will be an added advantage.
Audit Senior (1 post)
The audit senior will report to, and work with, the Audit Manager in audit assignments from planning, execution and reporting. Other duties will include:
• Compliance to internal Quality Control Policy and Standards
• Supervising junior audit staff
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting or any quantitative specialisation
• Holder of full CPA(T), ACCA, or any other recognized qualification
• Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and other relevant local reporting requirements.
• At least 3 years working experience in a reputable audit firm. Professional experience in any of the EAC or SADC countries will be an added advantage.
Audit Assistants (2 posts)
Audit assistants will work under the supervision of Audit Seniors in carrying out audit assignments.
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting or any quantitative specialisation
• Undertaking CPA(T), ACCA, or any other recognized qualification
• At least 1 year working experience in a reputable audit firm
Tax Senior (1 post)
The Tax Senior will report to, and work with, the Tax Manager in tax assignments from planning, execution and reporting. Other duties will include:
• Working closely with the Audit Teams in finalizing tax computations for clients
• Ensuring clients tax matters are managed effectively and efficiently
• Compliance to internal Quality Control Policy and Standards
• Supervising junior Tax staff
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting or holders of advanced diploma in taxation.
• Postgraduate tax qualification will be an added advantage
• Holder of CPA (T), ACCA, or any other recognized qualification.
• Thorough knowledge of local tax legislations and other regional and international tax frameworks
• At least 3 years working experience in a reputable audit/tax firm
Associate Consultants
Associate consultants work with us on assignment basis but are independent or freelancer consultants who have impeccable expertise in the areas of their specialisations. We now invite profiles from consultants in various fields for inclusion in our database.
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree or holders of advanced diplomas.
• Postgraduate qualification or higher degrees will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years of proven consulting experience
